There is a technique for mostly commodity trading called "Turtle
Trading" www.turtletrading.com
The main technique that gets them their outsized gains ($2000 to $200
million) is pyrimading their bets. They increase their bet a maximum
of 4 times if a trade is going their way. This can be simulated in
the MS sytem tester by checking the "Position Limit" box and setting
the "... simultaneous positions" to 4.
If you have a method that already produces positive results, this will
increase your gains dramatically - at the expense of greatly
increased volatility and drawdown - I guess there is no free lunch.
