I am attaching a full copy of my second message that I sent to the
FXTA website that the moderator did not approve for posting, probably
because I was dropping out of signing up for FXTA and they don't want
any negatives cluttering up a pristine website where every e-mail is
a ra ra.. I dropped out after that... I have signed up for MS
QuoteCenter instead for equities real time.
"Hi Shauna, I had sent an earlier e-mail that missed getting through
somhow, so I will send another one. Overall, I think FXTA is very
interesting; but it does require you to sit at the screen and do
multiple analysis with the time alignements using the View Commentary
screens and also use of the volatility info to make good trades.
Since
I have a day job, it would suit me better to have a single "master"
entry and exit system that I could set up with the Metastock alert
function. Without it, I have to pass on FXTA.
It would also be wise to do some backtesting using points and see
what you find for gains. May want to check how FXTA works in
backtested examples. Not sure what is assuemd for signals in
backtesting. Can anyone clarify please? Cost of trading on the
spread can easily outweigh any gains - so its worth doing the
analysis.
I think FXTA is a very expensive MS add-on. At a later point I will
re-visit my decision.. Hope they reduce the pricing.
Best of luck trading "
