MetaStock can display up to approximately 65,000 data bars, which is 
about 260 years of daily data (from year 1800), or almost a full year 
of 5-min data.

There could be a number of reasons why MS only displays 2 years' data 
on your setup.  Check all your default settings, and try opening only 
one chart at a time.
