The is not a "final" solution, but will work. When you installed MetaStock
eSignal, an Offline mode was also installed (usually two separate icons are
put in the Start->All Programs menu). Just start the program in off-line
mode from now on and use Reuters EOD or any other EOD data as you normally
would expect (i.e. browse to the folder containing the EOD data and load
from there.
The "final" solution may be a simple un-install/re-install of MetaStock to a
fresh folder. Make sure you back up your MetaStock folders before doing
anything. Frankly the off-line mode will solve your issue so completely, I
think you will just do it that way.
