Thank you for your reply.  I tried this wiht notepad, but I get into 
more trouble.  It changed the file extension to .wss and I can't 
change it back to .stc.  I have contacted the suppliers again to see 
if they can help to sort it out.  They said that cannot supply any 
conversion program and don't know where I can get one from...
