I would like to buy Metastock (most probably the EOD version. I know in Viratech-India sell it India. I would however like to know if anyone else is selling the same or having the CD of METASTOCK 9.0 version. The cost need to be less as it is for personnel use.

If the Excel date is DD/MM/YY in text format, extract the fields as
follows:
Day : left(A1,2)
Month : mid(A1,4,2)
Year : right(A1,2)
The month may need some changing, but you'll get the idea. Then from
these assemble the correct date. You will also have to fix up the
year, adding 2000 or so, but it depends on the data. Finally, use
date(y,m,d)
to get it as a date.
