Last
week I posted a notice regarding the first year anniversary of MSTT. I received
some kind email and positive feedback on the newsletter, which I am very
grateful for.
In
this post, I want to tell you some of things I’m planning for the next 12 issues
of MSTT.
The
trader series is going to continue with more articles by actual traders covering
markets other than equities. I also have one final article by Jim who is going
to share his test results for his IBD trading system. The results are
impressive. He is going to publish the code for another system that he says is
the only system he has ever tested that can go long in a downtrend. That should
be interesting!
He
also says he’s come up with a way for defining market conditions that uses
commonly available symbols from any market, including the ASX. He tells me it’s
easy, portable and effective.
I’m
going to write more about systems testing and review TradeSim. It’s a good tool,
so you’ll want to know how it integrates with MS and the in’s and out’s of using
it.
We’ll
continue to build on our coding knowledge, and I’m planning on putting together
a regular feature on various expert systems and how they perform in testing.
I’ll review some new MS tools and put in some feedback on MS 9.1 and the Quote
Center.
Don’t
miss an issue because you forgot to send in your renewal or because you’re not a
subscriber. If you want to read more about the newsletter

Thanks
for a great year, and I’m looking forward to serving you again in the
future.
