Open X-Axis Properties. In the "Loaded" box under "Last date" highlight the day from the date e.g "25" from the
08/25/2005.  To move forward hit Up arrow on the keyboard then click "Apply" button.  You can move backward
by hitting down arrow.  For intraday bars use "T" (time) instead of "D" (date).

Fantastic!
I have my x axis margin set to 10 in order to give me an inch or so of
blank space on the right edge of my charts. But this shift+advance
bar-by-bar does not honor the margin -- the bars are against the right
edge. Any way around that?
