Preston, as you probably know, a bullish MACDH/price divergence
occurs when price makes a lower high, but the MACDH makes a higher
low. A bearish divergence occurs when price makes a higher low and
the MACDH makes a lower high.
There are probably an infinite number of ways of defining divergences,
and the MACDH Divergence kit provides the best four methods
(original/alternative, major/minor) I've found after much testing.
The main difference between the kit's major & minor signals, is that the
former uses a more strict definition (i.e. more reliable). The minor
signals are more numerous, generally outnumbering the major signals
by 2:1.
In addition to the main signals, the kit provides Major MACDH
divergence warnings with high probability (approx 33%) on the day
before they occur - very handy when trading EOD.
