If 80% of your local “Ivy League” is ENTJ, then I am pleased not to be one. No disrespect to them of course, but it’s the make-up of the other 20% that would interest me. Or the make-up of the population that were good enough to apply but chose not to…!!

I wouldn't take it too seriously. I am an INFJ and had a reasonably fruitful
career as a banker. Any organization needs a mix of people to compete. I
suspect that you might find that different trading styles appeal to
different personality types (e.g. discretionary vs. systematic). The
personality of a jazzed up day trader is very different from a laid back
position trader.

Mind you, when I was in grad school (oriental studies) I did find I had
nothing in common with the MBA students who kept trying to shake my hand and
give me their business cards. Maybe its because they were all ENTJs....

Check your local Ivy League graduate biz school. 80% of the class is ENTJ,
compared to 2% of the general population. Aside from making great biz
leaders, from what I have read, ENTJs make great traders too
-- above and beyond any other MB type. In fact, if you are not an ENTJ and
struggling at trading, ask yourself if trading is the right vocation for
you.
