I have used them in the past. Typically, the condor. They were good
steady sources of income for me (sometimes), but of course you always
had to figure that the "fat tail" of the price distribution curve
(fatter than many seem to think) would catch up with you sooner than
later. I always tried to keep this in mind in terms of figuring
"expectancy" of outcome. 

So many books seem to portray this as "close to a high probability
almost sure thing". Nothing is.
