OK, well it’s
good to know someone else get it…
I’ve
also never been bothered with it until now…I’ve got an indicator
that I like to “tweak” visually by adjusting the parameters. I’d
like to adjust-look-adjust, etc but it’s a complete pain that I have to
keep doing adjust-cancel-adjust-look-adjust-cancel-adjust-cancel, etc etc
Oh, well,
never mind…I’ll just add it to my Gripe List for future rants.

Group] MS bug or is it just me?
I frequently experience
the same.
Except I normally don’t
cancel, I just keep pressing “OK” until the parameter windows cease
being displayed.
When this happens the
code still seems to plot correctly, so it must just be some sort of indicator
reference error in the Metastock application code.
Cheers,
Tim.

bug or is it just me?
Does anyone else experience this problem
with custom indicators or is it just me?
When I alter the parameters of certain
custom indicators and then press ‘OK’, instead of accepting and
changing the indicator I just get a change of parameter setup, i.e. it shows
another parameter window from an entirely different indicator. I then have to
press ‘Cancel’ and start again, re-entering the new
parameters…then it’s pot luck again whether MS accepts this or I
just get the same problem again.
There is nothing wrong with the code as it
plots out OK (eventually), it just seems to be a bug in the program. Grateful
if anyone can advise a fix if there is one…
