Hi Roy,
I had tried setting the minimum bars in the option. However it still
persist. After examining other stocks with the indicator displayed, I
discovered the following:
1) If stock's history are along been below 5%, the explorer based on the
indicator formula will return N.A.
2) If the stock's 1 day percentage change, say last monday, hit 6% & dip
below 5%, the explorer will start tracking the number of bars below 5% only
from last monday. This pose a problem since stocks whose recent history hit
above 5% & dip below, will turn up in the explorer as few bars. Thinking
that this stock spend few bars below 5%, it must be a wide range stock in
history. Only when display the chart along with the indicator, it will show
that all along the stock history is below 5% and only recently hit above and
below 5% --> Causing the indicator to start tracking recently.
I hope u can understand the long description. Is there a way to circumvent
the problem?
Regards.
