What about Pascal ?  I seemed quite easy to learn back in my uni days, and I believe TS easy language is based on pascal which may be beneficial.

Best regards

Subject: [EquisMetaStock Group] Metastock Developers Kit

Am getting increasingly tired of the MSFL restrictions, but rather than go on a whole new learning curve with a different program (e.g. E-signal formula script) I’m thinking of using that time to learn a more widely applicable language, getting the MDK and coding in DLLs.

Gulp…

The big question though would be which language to choose to learn, seeing as the MDK can handle a range of them? I have heard that C++ is very quick but difficult to get to grips with, and that Visual Basic is the opposite. The latter would presumably also be useful for Excel routines.

Would be grateful for any advice from satisfied, or otherwise, users…
