I'm reviewing Metastock Pro 9 that I use to study forex chart. I
don't
use a real time feed. I download minute base historical into
Metastock
using The Downloader. I also place about 100 bars of right margin,
so
I can make future projection.
2 things I've observed:
1. The created new chart use my computer time zone, not the imported
price data.
2. When I draw line studies (lines, shapes, etc) that are projected
into the future dates, it seems to be okay as long as the dates of
price data is not truncated. Meaning all the lines and shapes are
not
deformed on weekdays continous price. But when price stop on e.g.
Friday 17, 22:59PM and start again on Monday 20, 02:00AM, then
projected lines and shaped that have prevoiously cross the weekend
(Sat&Sun) become skewed/deformed.
For samples, this is the pre-weekend graphic. Notice the lines &
shapes occupying Saturday 18.

And this is the Monday graphic after I imported Monday price data.

The previous lines was skewed vertically, and some part of the Fri
17 too is changed.
Is there a way for me to retain the continous chart without this
kind of skewing.
Thanks in advance,
John C.G
