Hi
Just wounding is there a way to find the best performing stocks from
a list?
Here's what I normally do :-
Compare the stock against its GICS index and find the stocks that
are out performing there index. I then open the charts and have a
look and decide if I want to trade that stock or not.
Ok now you how I like to pick stock, what I want to do is the same
thing but with Sub-Industry. So group stocks by the Sub-industry
i.e. Gold for the asx (Sub-Industry # 15104030) and I get a group of
around Two hundred stock. But now what do I compare them too? Can
you create your own index?
And if you didn't guess I'm trading the ASX or Australian Stock
Exchange so if there are indexes for the subgroups then please let
us know as I'm unable to find them.
Regards
Rodney
