There has been a lot of debate on Heikin-Ashi coding
in Metastock. The program cannot code it as far as I
know. A way to circumvent this is to export your data
in an Excel-like program, apply Heikin-Ashi on them,
and re-import them to metastock as a different
security which you will have to set up probably in the
same folder with the original.

It is cumbersome and good only for EOD, but I do it
everyday. Believe me.
