Subject: Re: [EquisMetaStock Group] To Kevin Barry and esignal data
users
Hello Sachin,
Excuse late reply - I'm currently down in Spain on a dodgy modem
connection.
I am not sure exactly what you have done so far so I am first-guessing
this solution:
1) Create a new folder anywhere except in the eSignal folder.
2) Create your realtime symbols one at a time using the MS RT Downloader.
As I mentioned before, I do not think that you can simply copy over your
EOD symbols as the format of the records will be different.
3) Download the history for each symbol via the Hypertrader Downloader
already described.
4) Enable realtime in MS Pro. (Tools/Options).
5) Open your symbol(s) in MS.
Let me know which step is failing.

Kevin

Hi kevin,
Actually I have not progress any further. When I run the realtime
metastock yes I can see the folder of esignal and yes I can see the
charts which were created by when I downloaded the esignal
software. But I can't add my folder from my EOD data. So i have not
used the realtime data for my metastock trading till now.
I have asked esignal technical staff and they said they cant assist
for third party charting software. The trouble is I can't create a
folder in the esignal folder. I can't even add a folder there. Don't
know how to overcome this problem. its almost two weeks now that i
have signed up for the esignal realtime data and i have not used it
to my desired plan. I wanted to get the data to do hourly
exploration. Now I don't think I can do that.
