My hardisk crashed two weeks ago and I managed to get the PC running
again by re-installing all the stuffs. My OS is XP Professional ver
2002 updated with SP2. My problem is that I can't seem to Install
Metastock. Every time I install, the installation will go ok until a
pop up which reads" setup will now update your old expert advisor
files". " Your old expert advisor files have been copied to the
C:\programfiles\equis\metastock\backup\expert"folder...." then you
have to click ok to proceed. This time a pop up will read " The
specified module could not be found " click ok again and new message
will say " Internal error- could not load- C:\program files\common
files\equis\localized resources\EQCMUI90EN.DLL. Then it will proceed
to complete the installation by placing the MS and Downloader icon
on my desktop. If you click the MS on the desktop, new pop up reads"
The specified module could not be found". then the internal error
message again as mentioned above. Finally a windows error generator
says "mswin has encountered a problem and need to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience.
I tried looking for solution on the web but could find nothing
similar. My PC spec is as following;
Asus P4P8X MB
512 kingston DDR
80 gig SATA
intel celeron 2 Ghz CPU
Tried the following, perhaps more than a hundred times:
Installation with my AVG antivirus disabled
Avoid autorun and run setup file alone from start,Run....
Tried both MS ver 8 and 9. same problem
I'm a grain trader and the market is not favourable to me at the

totally wiped off. Please help.
Please Help!
