The ST_Data.mdb file (file that controla the enhanced system tester)
is probably damaged. Formorg.exe has to read this file to run. You
can try to run JETCOMP.exe to repair the file. From the
Equis\MetaStock folder. This is designed to clean and compact the
Microsoft database files (e.g. ST_Data.mdb)
Browse to the Equis\MetaStock folder
Right click on ST_Data.mdb
Select Rename
Rename it from ST_Data.mdb to ST_Data1.mdb
Double click on JETCOMP.exe
In the "Database to Compact From (Source)" section, Click the Ellipse
button (…) to browse to the Equis\MetaStock folder
Select the ST_Data1.mdb file
In the "Database to Compact Into (Destination)" section, Click the
Ellipse button (…) to browse to the Equis\MetaStock folder
Select the ST_Data1.mdb file
Rename the ST_Data1.mdb to ST_Data.mdb in the Destination field
Click the Compact button (all other options can be left at the
default settings)
Click Exit when complete, then ST_Data1.mdb can be deleted
If you can open the system tester after, export your custom tests,
delete the ST_Data.mdb and Results folder then re-install and import
your custom tests back in.
If it still doesn't open you will need to delete the ST_Data.mdb and
Results folder then re-install. Hopefully, everyone has a backup of
their custom formulas, to import after something like this happens.
