Dusant,

From what I can understand, you are trying to create a broad market indicator.

I'm very sorry, I really don't understand you very clearly. Firstly
I'm no expert with metastock as you are.

The first thing I would humbly suggest to you is to read the Help Manual. That would answer most of your questions.

In the filter column I have to key in Col A - col b or should I put
it as you mention col a and col b.

The ColA and ColB will list out all the stocks which satisfy your criterion.

You mention it will filter out all that doesn't satisfy my request.
I thought the filter should satisfy my request, right and the
exploration results will give me the individual stock symbols. So
how can I open the chart? It will only open individual charts at a
time. I need to compile the total results. say my exploration for
high gives a total results of 300 stocks that meet my exploration
criteria and the low exploration gives a total value of 290 of my
request. Therfore the value of 300 - 290 = 10 is the value or final
result needed to plot the histogram chart.

So my question here is how do I get this final result of 10 to be
plotted into a histogram chart.

I understand that you can run an exploration on the exploration results, but whether it would sum the results or not, I am not too clear. I have not tried it.
What you can do is to copy the results into a spreadsheet and do the additional math yourself. Then copy the summation of the result into a new security.

Hope I'm not troubling you too much on this and also hope you
understand what I'm trying to do here.

Yes, I think you are trying to create a broad market indicator.

Thank you very much for your patience and assistance.

Not at all. You are welcome.

Sachin

Then you can open the chart from the exploration results.
