Thank u for the advice.
What i meant is: the slope(gradient) of the 50days EMA or the degree against the horizontal line(X axis)
If the 50EMA is meandering or stays flat(going no where) yr stock price remains the same for the past 10days or more,wasring time to hold.
If a stock moves from $2.00 to $2.50 in 5 days u could see the charging momentum of the EMA..
PLs also enlighten me what to put in the columns A-F & the wordings on the filter as I do not understand what do all these means: pds:=input("Periods",1,260,5);
mavg := mov(c,50,e);
roc(mavg,pds,%)

I think the parameters are alright. I dont have metastock open at the moment.
