I'll be addressing all of these matters in a future issue of MetaStock Tips & Tricks. The March 
issue will have the third article in a series on the System Tester that you might find helpful. The 
optimising function needs to be shifted outside the Enhanced System Tester, and while this can be 
done it takes a little more work (actually it takes a lot more work) than running optimisations from 
within the System Tester.

If I was you I'd first address the size of the code you want to optimise. I think there are 14 
letters of the alphabet that can be used as variable names. Some of your variable names are too long 
unless you're already using all 14 letters. You have space for just 1023 characters in each System 
Tester window. Use them wisely. I could list a number of other space-saving measures, and if you 
subscribe to the newsletter you should check out page 12 of the February issue to refresh your 
memory on these.

Optimising outside the System Tester is not a topic that can be explained in a couple of sentences.
