Most MS crashes are caused by upper memory conflicts, video
acceleration interference with memory release, hyper threading or some
program on the computer that interfers with the timing of a data
stream. Firewall software is an example. Some trojan horses or
transponder parasites can do it also.
Crashes can also be caused by driver conflicts, kernel32 errors or
other hard to trace stuff.
Use bugtoaster and you can figure out why. Then all you have to do is
figure out how to fix it.
