My system picked up the XP auto update this morning, and Metastock asked for a CD confirmation upon startup, but ran normally afterwards.

Dear Friends,
I have experienced a block of the "Open chart" function (Invalid
parameter function message) after the last automatic update of XP
window.
This update consists of many little updates all named with a KB89...
initial.
I reinstalled MS many times but without a result.
Only after I have removed these updates MS has worked normally-
I would like to know if some one of you too have experienced this
problem.
