Equis are unlikely to sell you the read-write version of the MDK - they have a track record for ignoring all requests for the read-write version.  The read-only version is US$299 - no idea how much the read-write version is worth.

 

I suggest either:

1.  Decoding the data format yourself (do a google search for metastock data format); or 

2.  Buying a library that does it for you such as Metalib http://www.trading-tools.com/metalib.htm

Hello.
Does anyone now were I can download a manual for 
Metastock Developement 
Kit? I am trying to do a program that download quotes 
from the Swedish 
Market and update my Metastockfiles automatically. But 
before I buy MDK I 
need to see if it is worth the money or if I can do this 
update without MDK.
