Jose,
Everyone on this list known how you can be generous of your time, to help
anybody with a problem.

A little background on Jim Brewster from Tacoma:
By his own admission, Mr Brewster was an employee of Boeing in the
60's, being in charge of some software projects there with a team of
software programmers under his control. Time and time again, as he
pointed out on several lengthy emails to me, he claims that he had a
major battle controlling these "brilliant but unruly" programmers, a
war which he says he eventually won.
However, in a constant barrage of mails from him, it was obvious to me
that his disdain for programmers was more than evident.
Now, 40 years later, Mr Brewster still carries the scars from those
past battles, and seems to have an irrational hatred for anyone he
perceives as being of the same genre as his former "adversaries".
Time & time again, Mr Brewster would email me with problems that
eventually were proven without doubt to originate at his end.
Time and time again I took the time (more than ten hours of my busy
time) and effort to help him sort out his problems. Mr Brewster's ego
stopped him from finding the courage to admit his self-generated
problems, or to even say a simple "thank you".
Eventually, after more than a dozen "problems" sorted and "fixed" over
a period of two months, Mr Brewster turned to all kinds of irrational
and mixed-up accusations.
For example, I would often get several messages about "MACD diverse",
intermixed with racist ravings about the Chinese taking over the
world.
With time it became clear to me than that Mr Brewster had a specific
agenda, and that it had little or nothing to do with my software or
services, but more with his gripe over his imaginary enemies.
Finally, when Mr Brewster resorted to spamming my public email box
with 20Mb attachments of irrelevant material, it was time to put my
foot down.
I asked him politely to stop, but he replied that he would go ahead
and smear my good name all over the Net. I had no choice but to block
his email address.
As for his current claims that I fail to support my clients, that my
software is full of errors, and any other malicious accusations, my
record speaks for myself.
My reputation for being thorough and accurate with MetaStock code
rivals that of Roy.
Additionally, I spend close to 20hrs of my time each week providing
free support to several forums and usergroups, compiling and providing
free useful data and formulae at MetaStockTools.com, and offering free
support and advice to all my clients without question.
On reflection, the amazing thing about this saga is that with over 400
satisfied clients since 1999, I have only ever encountered two
trouble-makers. This speaks very highly of our trading community, and
I wouldn't be happier spending all my time and energy anywhere else.

To me a complete trading system means that it is totally mechanical
and you take every entry and exit signal. I have not found any
"complete" system that works with MetaStock.
However, while trying to use the MACDH system for my EOD futures
trading I have found several errors in it. Many times, it fails to
generate signals when there is in fact divergence; it generates
signals when there is no divergence; and the MACDH Exploration at
times returns signals that are not identified by the MACDH Expert.
Also, the documentation is horribly lacking and while this 'system'
claims to be a MACD Histogram system, nowhere in any of the
documentation or in communication with Jose will he provide that
formula for the MACD Histogram
While Jose is a MetaStock savant, he becomes a raving maniac when
you point out the errors of his system and refuses to investigate
them claiming that his MACDH is "perfect" - as is. That is, he
believes it has no errors.
If you wish to view divergence, you can plot the MACD Histogram
(formula below) and watch it for yourself. You do not need the
MACDH software. The MACD Histogram system is vastly overpriced, has
many errors, and support is very much lacking. The Walter Bressert
system runs circles around it and is much, much cheaper.

The MetaStock formula for the MACD Histogram is:
( Mov( C,12,E ) - Mov( C,26,E ) ) - Mov( ( Mov( C,12,E ) - Mov(
C,26,E ) ),9,E )
