Steve, an external MetaStock dll can read and manipulate a complete
data file in almost any way you wish, making any complex task seem
easy.

I can't program in C++ or Delphi, and my VB is basic (no pun intended)
, so I send all my MS dll work to dedicated programmers such as Umit
at http://www.traderhelp.net/ . For example, Umit recently coded a
specialized ZigZag for me that accepts variable % inputs.

need to learn another program language if that is the only way to
reproduce the zig zag formula. I just figured there might be a way to
do it with the basic Metastock formulas.

the 10% filter, in the February 1997 magazine issue. It creates the
formula in Excel. Maybe this can't be done with Metastock. I looked
it over and it just would create a circular reference.
