I got file header format but it will take time to study it and convert as per my requirements. If any free software with source code is available preferable in VB/VFP/Clipper/FoxPro etc., my work would be very easy and would save my time if others have already done.

The files section has a utility by mimansoor to convert MS data to ASCII and back.

 

It can also be done by any software by reading binary data.

 

I had done it earlier with QBasic, Clipper and so on. If you do a google, the file header format can be known.

Is there any help available anywhere about format of metastock database so that I can use it's data to other programme or make import/export thru my own programme and utilise that data or may make my own programme about data utility etc.

 

In general, I want to find in which format data is written in metastock and how to read and write records in and from it.

 

Actually, I want to use that data for inquiry about support and resistance formula.
