The simplest way to do it would be
in excel or any other spreadsheet. If the dates are all in order, then it should
be a simple cut and paste job.
It not, then you would need to use
the "array" function to "synch" each date and substitute the zero O/I with the
new values.
I think, in the files section,
there are a set of ASCII conversion utilities written by Mansoor, which should
also be of help.

Dusant, I have a query
till this date i have my data in ms format as symbol,date,o,h,l,c,vol,o/i
(o/i is there but all 0 values). I want to import the old o/i data (which
is in a ms ascii with dates) . my recent data will have this in the
ms ascii txt file. how can i include this in o/i colum for backdated data.
Please elaborate.
