Gerard,
The ZigZag indicator is more abused than anything
that has ever been presented. Look for robust approaches that return
steady profits, month after month. A simple approach is one that I trade
for dozens of clients and is publicly posted:
No mysteries, open-coded, simple rules. Most
people shy away from work that is this simple. Simple, non-optimized
systems perform into the future. Complicated, over-optimized systems,
paint pretty equity curves for historical data...but, seldom perform in real
time.

do. Bressert's
system is quite good also I find TrendMedium
useful.
