You can't code a 3 line break using MS function language. That's why
it's under the line selection type. It's a complex function that
requires extensive C++ dlls.
However, if you think about it for a minute a three line break is
nothing more than a moving average crossover minus the noise. Simply
code in a 20 SMA crossing a 50 SMA and you should be close. Save the
three line break as your default chart and open a few of the ones the
explorer finds. Adjust the MAs until they're hitting pretty close.
You want to find the MA combination that is one bar or so away from
trigering the three line break signal.
It's not perfect but it's easy, works almost all of the time and
doesn't require a computer science degree to code.
