Martin,

You are correct, they added MC in 9.0. 
Did you install the .Net Framework SP1 update. This will stop the MC 
from connecting. Nobody is really using the MC, yet.
Make sure that the "Run this program in Compatibility mode for" 
option, under the Compatibility tab, for MetaStock is Unchecked.
