Actually, you need to back up more than just the Explorations,
Experts, etc.
ST_Data.mdb should be backed up. You'll notice it grows larger as you
run more systems test. As it gets bigger it slows down MS
dramatically. It max's out at 2 mb. All of my systems tests that are
I create and are not standard, I use the name custom in front of. I
keep a copy of a small 40 KB file of ST_Data. I export the custom
systems tests and anything else I've added, store the large ST_Data
file and load the smaller one. Then I download all of the custom and
new systems stuff. Once that's done, I make a new copy of the ST_Data
file while it's small and use that one as my new small copy. I do
that every time ST_Data gets over 750 KB. If ST_Data gets over 1 mg
you believe the speed loss. If you don't run a lot of systems tests
it will take a long time for it to get bigger. However, you should
make the small copy before you forget.
You also need to back up any file with extension DTA. Usually you
won't have a problem with these but sometimes you do.
Favorites is a dta file.
MS files aren't that big so I keep a mirrored copy on another drive.
