Yes, but it is somewhat complicated. You have to trick Metastock into
thinking it has EOD data.
Here is how I do it.
Put your 60 min data into Excel.
Columns should be: Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume
Rows should start with the oldest time and end with the newest Time.
Now, delete the TIME column.
Then go to the last row which is the newest bar and change the date to
today.
In the row just above that which is the previous 60 min bar, change the date
to yesterday.
Now, select these two cells in column A and then grab the handle and drag it
all the way to the top of the file. This will change all the dates to be
EOD dates.
Now you have 60 min data converted to days, in Metastock format.
Next, go to the downloader and create a new security, say XXX60min and give
it a dummy TICKER.
Then open that security in the downloader.
Go back to Excel and select all the data, right click on COPY.
Go back to the Downloader Datasheet, put your cursor in cell A1, right click
and select PASTE.
Close the file.
Now you can open that file in Metastock and you will be viewing 60 min data
correctly, except every 60 min bar is a new day.
Sorry, but that's all you can do with EOD. Its fine to do backtesting etc.
