What is a discrete MFL.
You have a point. That decimal thing may not
make much of a difference. Any way I just want to use it as a trend finder; In
the sense just scan the stocks based on weekly and daily MACD in same
direction.

A question for you.
What part of 8.3896 or 17.5185 is actually used by
the canned Mov() function? My recollection is
that the decimal component is discarded and it is
just a waste of space. You might want to check
this out for yourself. I think that to use the
decimal component you would need to use discrete MFL
code for the EMA.
Just my thoughts. As Jose will tell you I can be
wrong at times.
