I have tested the longs and shorts seperately and then combined into one trading system and get better results than with a system created from one V system test for long/shorts. I remember reading somewhere that the seperate analysis of long/short is OK and does work better.
However I have never created a separate system for longs and then another for shorts.
Also if you start an ICE group I will join.
