RE: [EquisMetaStock Group] Metastock "cheats'? showing part of next day data?

Hi Pierre:

   I
don&#8217;t quite follow what you mean about &#8220;dot&#8221; as my indicator style?<span
>    However, it seems you are aware or see what
I am talking about?

As to histogram style, I use the MACD as
histogram, but not the others, such as Stochastic or Chaikin Money Flow.

It would seem that I shouldn&#8217;t have
to change my indicator style to prevent Metastock from giving me a partial view
of which way next day&#8217;s indicator is going to head?

Thanks

Rick

You have to use dot or histogram as your indicator style to don't view the
start of the next day move of your indicator.

Thanks for your reply, and what you say is what I am trying to do.  Using
historical data:  <span

That is exactly how you will see data, day by day, or hour by hour.

whether or not to buy for the next day, before I view the next
day.    I view or &#8220;request&#8221; the next day&#8217;s
data by holding down the shift key and pressing the arrow key.

However, since this is historical data, Metastock already has the next days EOD
on file.  It starts to partially draw the direction of the oscillator
before I hold down my shift key and hit the arrow key to view the next
day.   Maybe this isn&#8217;t happening to everyone or possibly no
one has noticed this?
