Thank you very much for your reply.
I take the feed of Viratech for Indian market NSE and
the constitutent stocks. Although the data is always
delayed by 10 seconds, still we get every new quotes
(I am not sure if that's what is known as ticks) -
there's I think no miss as I monitored it with
Indiabulls data/chart and tick charts can be drawn at
Power IndiaBulls (PIB). The charts drawn on MetaStock
with Viratech's feed also gets every quote - that
means the software is getting every tick data. It's
not that the chart gets updated after every 5 minutes
(minimum periodicity).
