Hello,
I'm using Reuters as my data provider. I tried some of the programs
that are using Yahoo to get free data but I found that I was spending
more time managing my data than managing my money so I decided I had
enough and I switched back to Reuters DataLink.
One problem I find with the Reuters downloader is it is smart enough
to provide the symbol change notification but yet stupid enough not
to update the symbol itself. I find this annoying and stupid. There
should be an option to automatically update the symbol.
Is there a way to automate this process? If not, we should ask Equis
to add this feature.
