Plug-ins are tools like any other - used correctly in the right hands
they can be very useful.
The only issue I have with Equis' official list of plug-ins, is that
they conveniently ignore some of the best plug-ins out there, which
they consider a threat to their own product.
For example:
TradeSim is far superior to the standard system tester (any MS
version) in MetaStock:

The URSC plug-in is far superior to the standard Relative Strength
Comparative indicator in MetaStock:
