Yes, but-----. If you plan to continue to use Quotes Plus, you don't want to do this. At the present time, Quotes Plus can only Export to Metastock in the old 255 stocks/folder format. So if you change your data structure to the new 6000/folder format, Quotes Plus will no longer write to them.
I am told that Quotes Plus will have an upgrade for this "soon" (has been over 6 months so far).
If, however, you no longer plan to use Quotes Plus, then you can use your Downloader to set up the new 6000/folders, and then use the Downloader to copy the data from the old 255/folders to the new ones. Downloader gives you an option of deleting the source data, but I would recommend that you not do this until you are sure that all your data has transferred correctly.
