David,
There are countless bugs and I think many of us have understood the
significance of the problem for some time. Some of us going back as
far as 6.5 .
The real question is what can we do about it?
Let me explain a little. I don't know if you noticed or not but Ed
DeSilva is a moderator of this group. You may have noticed some of
his messages in the past. One in particular was a recent request for
problems that we felt needed to be fixed and some add ons that we as
users would like to see.
Ed is a member of the equis staff and let me asure you that he
listens. When I took over as owner of this group one of the things I
wanted to do was make sure that someone from equis was onboard to
hear our concerns and problems and also to get an idea of how we are
using the Metastock product. Ed graciously stepped up to the bat. His
request for guidance and problems has been only one of many offers
which he has brought to this group. Others have been for discounts
and a formula guide which is free here as well as the Equis site.
Back to our original question, what can we and you in particular do?
Why not post a list of all the specific problems you've come across.
As far as mismatches go, I do remember that being discussed here in
the past. Some of the problems that we are aware of include making
sure that an adeguate number bar are loaded and a problem with the
use of exponential moving averages.
Only way to compare notes will be for you to post your problems so
that others may offer input. Please free to do so!
