Martin,
Thanks. I had spent some time poking around on the Metastock Web
site and was unable (as you said) to find a patch to take me to 8.01.
I'll contact Metastock on Monday for an upgrade, they are the once I
got it from.
I'll also reinstall ice when the disk arrives. I may not be able to
try jo's test as I do not get index data downloads. Only stocks and
ETFs. However I did try to run it against SPY with the exact settings
he gave and only got one solution.
By the way, I only see ONE "holy grail" and it only came up with one
solution. I did see optimizations were set up though. But just as
with the other opt runs, I only get one optimization. I had formerly
had my view set to 15 opts, knocked it back down. No difference.
I still suspect that it's the version issue, or the Ice Download
file is corrupt at their site. What's interesting is that I CAN run
optimizations and get many results using the regualar opt tool and my
own systems. It's only the Adaptick systems that will not produce
multiple optimizations.
