Is there a function to get the directory name that
a stock is in?
I have stocks broken down by industry group in each
subdirectory. When you do a scan across mutiple subdirectories
you get results from several directories when using the explorer.
I usually highlight all the stocks in the result list ( there it
shows the directories) and right click and "add to favorites",
creating a report directory to scroll thru the results using a chart
template. At this point I do not know what directory the stock is in.
If I like the signal, I would like to use the industry group strength
as a confirmation of the signal.
I can click on the open button again, and manually search for the
ticker and location in the favorites, but it would be more
convienient to use a function in an expert or have the location
display on the chart if possible.
