I received my copy of the new ICE manual today. I guess
they're being mailed out to all of the people who have bought the product.
Mail takes longer but you get the manual in a book format with color
pictures. It's 58 pages. A lot of new material has been added to it.
The two most important additons are the example Adaptick gives of how
to create a trading system for QQQ, and the table that names the
indicator, gives the number of tests required per security in the opt
version, shows the opt ranges, defines the signals tested, and gives
the optimization equations used in the test. Basically these new
additions help you to interpret the information you get out of the systems
tester. With the table you can understand the opt values for opt1, thru
opt4. This has made a strong program stronger. I like the new manual
much better. I ran some new indicator tests today, and the manual couldn't
have come at a better time. I will use it to interpret the values my
tests generated. I think it's still $99 for a couple of more
weeks. That's pretty cheap. A couple of trades burn up more cash than that
in commissions.JO To
