In essence,i want the function to calculate,(predict), a future y value given an existing x value and arrays of previous x and y values. The approach is to fit a linear regression line to the historical x and y data and then use this line to predict a future y value given an x value.
The MS "Reference" function works not only prior values, but giving it it a "+" number will generate future values.
