I have Metastock 8.01, EOD version. My data supplier provides
Metastock stock data in the 255/folder format; which I also use with
other analysis programs.
One folder had a problem with a couple of stock files, which I
deleted and then readded. The files were no longer in order, so I
used the Downloader Sort Securities routine. But I found out (after
the fact) that this sorts the data files alphabetically by Name.
To make it easier for me to use the data with my other programs, I
need an alphabetical sort by Symbol. But I cannot find a way to
accomplish this: I have checked the Help files, etc.
Is there some way that I can resort the data files in this folder in
alphabetical order by SYMBOL?
