Ver. 8.01 EOD fixed that problem (which DID exist in Ver. 8.0).
When you bring up the System Tester screen "Perform Trading
Simulations", select "Add" to get to a list of securities. On that
"Add Securities" screen, after you highlight the securities you want
to use, go the box in the lower left and change the period to weekly,
monthly, etc. Then after you select the securities, the "Perform
Trading Simulation" screen will show all of the securities in gray,
and the periodicity which you selected should also show.
