When you have a moderator who is willing to spend almost full time to the list, the above may be applicable. But until someone is willing to spend that amount of time it will continue.
I am on monitored Yahoo lists and your post may not get through the screening for up to 48 hours. On this list, spontaneity is one of it's very nice features and screening would kill that. Anyone who feels that they become personally contaminated by such stuff has some deep issues that go way beyond the objectives of this list. I find the X rated spam to be no more offensive than the invitations to junk money making schemes which hit this list much more frequently.
